Internal Sales Support

Setra Wood Products Ltd are importers, machinists, and distributers of high-quality Scandinavian softwoods to the builders and timber merchant sectors. We are currently looking to fill the following permanent position.

Internal Sales Support

This is a full-time position based in our office in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, where we manufacture and distribute high quality timber products throughout England & Wales.

The successful candidate will ideally have had previous sales-support experience within the Timber Industry; however, full training will be given to a candidate showing the necessary aptitude and potential.

Key elements of this role include:

  • Dealing with customer enquiries and orders via phone and email.
  • Entering orders onto our trading system, and ensuring correct paperwork is distributed to the appropriate departments.
  • Provide a high level of customer service by building relationships with our regular customer base and ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Provide back-up and support for our external Customer Account Managers.


The successful candidate will ideally possess (amongst others) the following attributes:

  • Good numeracy skills.
  • A professional & courteous telephone manner
  • Competence in using a variety of Microsoft programs. (Full training will be given on our timber-based trading system)
  • Confidence to work both independently and as part of a dynamic and motivated team.
  • The ability to carry out tasks to specified criteria and within set deadlines.
  • A safety-conscious approach to work and the workplace.
  • A punctual approach to timekeeping
