Hannele Arvonen has been CEO of Setra Group since October 2013. Over the course of these years, the wood products company has focused on improving efficiency in the business and increasing the added value of its products. Setra’s goal is to become the leading company in the industry with the clearest sustainability profile by 2025.
“It’s been incredibly enjoyable to lead Setra in its transition from a sawmill company to a modern wood products company,” says Hannele Arvonen, outgoing CEO of Setra Group. “This would never have been possible without all the fantastic employees at Setra.”
“Hannele Arvonen has given Setra a boost and launched the company’s journey of change towards the goal of being the leading company in the industry with the clearest sustainability profile. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Hannele for all her excellent work with us and wish her good luck,” says Börje Bengtsson, Chairman of Setra Group.
The process of finding a new CEO for Setra will begin immediately.
Hannele Arvonen will take up her post at Sveaskog in September 2019 at the latest. She will be taking over from P-O Wedin, who has been CEO of Sveaskog since 2011 and will be retiring.
